3) ATTEND AN EQUESTRIAN SHOW IN THE ROYAL STABLE

Created by Bartabas in the Grand Stable of Versailles Palace in 2003, the Academy of Equestrian Arts is a “corps de ballet”. Its originality lies in the confrontation of various artistic disciplines, like dancing, singing, fencing or Kyudo, which is traditional Japanese archery.

4) Take a stroll in the city of Versailles

Discover what the charming city of Versailles has to offer, only a few minutes walking from the hotel. The Estate of Trianon is a unique place in the Park of Versailles.  It is home to the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon palaces, as well as the Queen’s Hamlet and a variety of ornamental gardens. Because this estate was initially designed to escape from the Court’s rigid etiquette, the visit is fascinating and very different from the Château de Versailles.

8) VISIT THE POTAGER DU ROI

Created in 1683 by Jean-Baptiste de la Quintinie, the Potager du Roi was a vegetable garden made to provide the Court with fruits and vegetables. It was also an experimental place to grow rare fruits and vegetables, or to produce them earlier than their usual season. Nowadays, the place is open to the public. It is a stunning vegetable garden, growing over 400 varieties of fruits and vegetables.
